Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Motor trade Service Advisor within our Clients Motor trade facility in Shrewsbury. You will need at least 2 years front desk customer facing service advisor / aftersales advisor motor trade experience for this role preferably within a main dealer set up with experience of Kerridge. This is not 100% essential as we will train the right candidate, If we believe that you will fit in our close knit team. A team player is also a must here as you will be working with other service advisors, vehicle technicians and the service manager A full Driving licence is also essential preferably clean but with no more than 6 points. Staring salary is £24,000 with an ote of £31,000 This is a Monday to Friday position with Satutday morningd on a team rota As a Service Advisor, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our service department. Your primary goal will be to assist customers with their vehicle service needs and ensure their satisfaction. Duties of a Service advisor - Greet customers and provide them with a warm welcome to the service department - Listen to customers' concerns and accurately document their vehicle issues - Provide recommendations for necessary repairs or maintenance based on customer concerns and vehicle inspections - Upsell additional services or products that may benefit the customer - Schedule appointments for vehicle repairs or maintenance - Communicate with technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs - Keep customers informed of the status of their vehicles throughout the repair process - Handle payment transactions and maintain accurate records of payments received - Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any questions or concerns promptly and professionally Skills We require for the service advisor role - Strong upselling skills to promote additional services or products - Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally - Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively We offer competitive pay, a positive work environment, and opportunities for career growth within our company.
