Are you happy to pick up the phone and create business? Can you articulately communicate the benefit to the customer of keeping heavy equipment in A1 condition? The client is experiencing a period of growth and are looking to hire into the business a Service Advisor to book service appointments. The role is pivotal within the dealership network as it will drive the growth of the service departments to ensure they maximising customer accounts held whilst also delivering gold standard service to customers. The position will be the main interface between the customer and service department helping to oversee workshop workflow and schedule of service, both in depot and mobile. Reporting directly to the service manager, you will receive calls and allocate work to the technicians via Business Management Software to ensure that they are kept busy maximising efficiency of their workload. You will also be making calls out directly to customers to market service and parts sales using the CRM system. There will be responsibility to monitor customer equipment through remote service tools and contact them to prospect for service and parts as well as allocate work to technicians based on criticality of repair and available inhouse expertise. Other duties will include quoting for repairs, informing and updating customers on repair and part lead times as well as consulting with customers on part suitability.
