In this dual role, you will handle both Service and Parts Advisor responsibilities, ensuring that our customers experience a seamless and high-quality service. You'll also be on a clear path to progress into a management role, where you will take on team leadership, overseeing service and parts operations, and contributing to the growth of the department. Key Responsibilities: Service Advisor Duties: Greet customers and manage their service appointments. Explain required vehicle services and repairs in a clear and professional manner. Maintain accurate service records and process all paperwork promptly. Provide updates to customers throughout their vehicle's service. Proactively suggest additional services or products that would benefit the customer. Efficiently manage service bookings and coordinate with the workshop team. Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues professionally.Parts Advisor Duties: Source and supply vehicle parts for the workshop and customers. Handle customer inquiries, providing expert advice on parts and availability. Maintain stock control and ensure timely replenishment of parts. Assist in processing orders, returns, and warranties. Support retail and trade customers with their parts requirements.Management Progression: As you develop in your role, you will be given the opportunity to progress into a managerial position, overseeing a team of service and parts staff. You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the service and parts departments, ensuring efficiency and customer satisfaction. Lead, train, and support your team to maintain high standards of service and performance. Collaborate with senior management to meet dealership goals and contribute to the growth and success of the department. Requirements: Previous experience in a service advisor, parts advisor, or customer service role, ideally in the automotive industry. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Basic knowledge of high-performance vehicle systems and parts (advantageous but not essential). Leadership potential and a desire to take on management responsibilities. A valid UK driving licence.
