Expleo is a leading aerospace engineering and quality assurance services provider. We work with some of the major space and defence providers and OEMs on their transformational projects. Due to a number of large projects increasing in size, we now have the need for Systems Engineers with experience in delivering to meet customers expectation and managing teams to come on board and assist with the delivery and management of work packages, ensuring that Expleo meet time, quality and cost criteria, act as the client interface, often working on client sites as the Expleo representative. Where you will be a positive contribution towards partnership working, supporting customers to understand and deliver systems engineering thinking and processes to meet their programme requirements. Responsibilities Derive the product architecture at physical and functional levels through interfacing with System and Design functions Derive baseline Hardware or Software Requirements for the equipment definition and aiding in shaping the Technical Requirement Specifications for products, decomposing and maturing the requirements through systems, subsystem and component level. Capturing and managing requirements through a requirements tool such as DOORS or JAMA. Deliver against 'V' model methodologies IAW ISO Standards, in particular ISO 15288. Systems and Software Engineering - Systems Life Cycle Processes. Scope and Plan project objectives for the various phases of a new development program, engaging with relevant stakeholders. Ensure cost adherence for planned activities. Work with customers to understand the need of their project then articulate those needs through requirements, systems architecture and delivery support models. Provide coherence of legacy design and scoping technology uplifts that fit the timescales and in-service requirements. Contribute to Systems Engineering Architecture team discussions to define physical product requirements and develop initial design artefacts that can be assessed at the Baseline Reviews. Produce Systems Engineering Artifacts that meet customer requirements and align with programme delivery phases. Contribute to review processes including SRR, PDR, CDR, DDR & PRR Assist in the development of products, through testing and evaluating the design against the requirement baseline, capturing and recording any errors or missing evidence. Developing and authoring Test Plans, Validation and Verification Requirements Matrix (VVRM), Quality Plans as well as any other Systems requirements documentation. Recording and maturing evidence sources to demonstrate requirements are satisfied against Suitably defined measurements of performance. Develop physical design systems engineering process in response to the Systems Engineering Management Plan (SEMP), to enable design studies to be linked to key project technical activities and the outputs shared with the wider engineering teams.Experience Experience: 5+ years' experience in system engineering activities and proven experience with supporting customers' requirements. Technical/Specialised knowledge: With technical programmes of work.
