The Senior Stores Person will oversee a team tasked with managing and distributing tooling and fixtures at our storage facility. This role includes ensuring proper storage, identifying any discrepancies, and initially managing the facility as a new revenue stream with support from various departments. General and Task Management: Receive and inspect deliveries. Communicate with customers regarding the storage of their tooling and fixtures. Maintain accurate records in the MRP system. Organize and allocate tooling and fixtures as needed. Ensure compliance with HSE regulations, company policies and procedures, quality and environmental standards, and all other company guidelines. Actively contribute to a positive team atmosphere.Knowledge: Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Familiarity with SAGE/MRP systems for stock allocation, issuance, transfer, and level checking. Understanding of product traceability, including stock history, batch numbers, certificates of conformity, and work orders. Knowledge of stock rotation principles. Understanding of units of measure. Familiarity with relevant documentation (certificates, despatch notes, etc.). Experience with safe manual handling practices.Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to engage effectively with the broader team. Ability to set and maintain high standards of housekeeping in the department. Project management experience with a track record of meeting deadlines. Team management and delegation skills when necessary
