Job Title: Senior Mechanical Engineer Location: North West England, Cheshire, Winsford Job Type: Contract, expected to work Full-Time hours on site Primary Industry: Engineering Secondary Industry: Electronics Job Description: Job Duties: Design, develop and maintain mechanical systems and components Conduct feasibility studies and testing on new designs Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure project deadlines are met Provide technical support to production and operations teams Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field Professional Engineering (PE) licence preferred Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering Proven track record in designing and implementing mechanical systems Knowledge and Skills: Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and practises Proficiency in CAD software and other design tools Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Effective communication and teamwork abilities Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field Previous experience in the electronics industry Working Conditions: Office-based work with occasional visits to manufacturing facilities Regular collaboration with cross-functional teams Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
