Elevation Recruitment Group are currently working with a leading specialist manufacturing company who are looking for a Senior Design Engineer. The company design and manufacture large scale engineering products and are at the forefront of their industry with a focus on renewable technology. Working in a dynamic R&D team this role will play a pivotal role in the front-end design for manufacture process and will support the strategy and overall business objectives to deliver carbon neutral products. The Senior Design Engineer will be responsible for: Developing design solutions from concept to manufacture Producing 3D CAD models Reviewing design drawings to ensure quality and integration Becoming the technical expert in the business to lead on product design and development Communicating with cross-functional teams to deliver engineered solutions The Senior Design Engineer will need: Previous mechanical design experience using 3D CAD A relevant engineering degree or equivalent Experience of working in a manufacturing technical engineering environment The ability to develop designs, products and processes Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team Elevation Engineering & Manufacturing is a specialist division within Elevation Recruitment Group; specialising in the recruitment of Senior Projects; Design; Engineering positions Yorkshire and the surrounding regions.
