We are currently looking to recruit an Senior Auto electrical Technician for our UK leading fleet conversion specialist client based in Doncaster (DN3) This roll shall cover all duties in the workshop electrical department and can involve mentoring. Also any additional or different duties in any department which the Company may require from time to time. Working Hours: This is a 4 day working week Monday to Thursday, 10 hours per day (6:30am-5pm) Salary: £30,000.00-£33,000.00 per year Benefits: Free parking Gym membership Health & well-being programme On-site parkingKey tasks Understand and be able to fit: Towbars Beacons and any extra lights inside and out on panel vans or chassis. Tail LiftsVarious electrical systems to include but not limited to: Alarms Immobilisers Tracking Parking sensors Split charge systems Welfare heating, water and power systems.Research electrical faults. Repair and replace electrical items. Have the basic tooling and be able to use hand and power tools General upkeep of the workshop and premises to aid with the smooth running of the workshop and conversion of vehicles. Practical skills. Installations should be to a high standard. Training requirements or equivalent are: NVQ level 2 and 3 Vehicle Mechanical Activities on Electronically Propelled vehicles Light vehicle service maintenance technician Certificate in Assessing candidates performance through observation IMIAL Level 3 award in Automotive refrigerant handler EV Technician Training Key Attributes Good working knowledge and a proven background is essential. Work methodically and pay close attention to detail. Problem solving skills. Ability to read electrical diagrams. Flexible as he work can be varied. Have own tools and also be able to look after and care for any company tooling and equipment used. Effective communication and positive relations with employees at all levels within the organisation. Be competent at working alone or as part of a team. Integrity. Confidentiality regarding all processes, data and information contained and discussed in the department.
