Job Title: Senior Document and Data Controller Connected Intelligence (CI) Configuration and Data Management (CADM) Team Overview: We are seeking a Senior Document and Data Controller to join our Connected Intelligence (CI) Configuration and Data Management (CADM) Team. In this role, you will ensure adherence to company guidelines and CM (Configuration Management) best practices. You will provide guidance to stakeholders, support process improvements, and enhance CM tools. Collaboration with project, product, and service teams is key, as well as offering first-line support and training for the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tool and Configuration Management Database (CMDB) users. Key Responsibilities: Document and Data Management: Record, control, and distribute documents/data in the CMDB. Quality Assurance: Monitor and control the quality of internal documents. CMDB Maintenance: Create and manage relevant structures, control access, and ensure the CMDB is maintained in a fit state. User Support: Provide first-line support and training for CMDB users, troubleshoot issues, and guide team members on Document and Data Management and CMDB use. Process Improvement: Propose and support process improvements, produce and maintain document templates, and contribute to CMDB and data management procedures. Reporting: Report on activities, CMDB state, and documentation/data status to the CADM Team Leader and other relevant teams. Collaboration: Work in a shared workload environment, supporting various projects, products, or services in collaboration with other CADM team members. Secondary CMDBs: Manage and control access to secondary CMDBs and support users in both administration and training. Team Support: Support more junior and newer CADM team members. Skillset & Experience Essential: Good standard of education (GCSE, high school diploma, NVQ or similar). Proficiency in oral and written English. Minimum of 2 years of document control experience in a technical or data management environment. Digital literacy and proficiency with MS Office tools. Experience with file/data management tools (e.g., MS Office, PDF editor, FTP, Nero). Experience with Product Data Management tools (e.g., Windchill, Teamcenter, Aras Minerva).Desirable: Knowledge of European languages. Understanding of project and product lifecycle. Exposure to APQP, CMII
