System Safety Engineer BRIEF OVERVIEW - Role: System Safety Engineer (engineer to principal available) - Role type: Permanent - Salary/Rate: £30k - £60k DOE - Working type: Hybrid/remote (1 day minimum per week on-site) / 9-day fortnight We are looking for multiple System Safety Engineers from junior to principal level to work on various projects within safety-critical industries, such as defence and space. There are multiple projects available to work on with plenty coming up. There is a huge focus on work-life balance, so working from home is fully acceptable if you're able to commit at least 1 day per week on site. There is also a big emphasis on training and development, with a big budget allocated just for this purpose. REQUIREMENTS - Knowledge of hazard analysis and logging - Experience with FTA, FMEA/DFMEA, RCA, etc - Able to produce safety reports and plans - Understanding of overall systems engineering principals - Experience with complex, safety-critical systems (Aerospace, defence, automotive, etc) DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE (NOT ESSENTIAL) - Requirements management - Knowledge of MBSE - Understanding of electronics engineering and standards - Knowledge of defence standards - Degree in a relevant engineering discipline / chartership If this role is of interest, please get in touch with an updated CV as soon as possible and we can discuss this in further detail over the phone when possible.
