Peacock Sourcing are currently recruiting for Quality Technician to work for their well established client based in Cwmbran. In this role you will join a well established team of Quality Technicians that form the core personnel of the factory. As a Quality Technician you will be responsible for maintaining quality control throughout production and assessing the quality of the final product. For this role there is a key focus on quality so as a Quality Technician you will be held to the highest quality standards. Working Hours 8am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday 37.5hrs a week Daily unpaid breaks 2x 15 mins and 1x 30 min break Pay £18.50 per hour - (Overtime is double pay) Duties: * Inspecting products specification and quality standards to identify needs. * Computer literate, comfortable uploading data onto a computer. * Quality control experience. * Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area * Inspect finished products for defects or errors * Working in a fast pace environment * Using various tools and materials * Comply with all work instructions as determined by guides. * Collaborate with team members to meet production goals Experience: * Previous experience in a quality based role. * Familiarity with using measuring and hand tools. * Previous experience in an aerospace background would be advantageous. * Previous experience working with chemicals would benefit. * Previous experience in automotive, aviation, nautical industries are desired * Ability to read drawings and interpret assembly instructions and diagrams * Strong attention to detail and quality control This is a 6 month contract with a high likelihood of extending as the business is rapidly expanding and ramping up production over the course of the year.
