Due to growth, a leading manufacturer supplying the aerospace, energy and automotive sectors has a new vacancy for a Quality Manager. You will be responsible for assuring products meet with customer and industry standards, developing company quality systems and working closely with customers. Applicants are sought with experience working in a quality role within a complex manufacturing/engineering environment. Commutable from: Blackburn, Burnley, Preston, Bolton, Manchester, Rochdale. Salary: £ 40,000 - £ 45,000 p.a. + benefits Suitable for: Quality Engineer, Senior Quality Engineer, Quality Manager. The Role Develop, implement and maintain quality control policies and procedures Oversee the day-to-day operations of the quality control programme. Work closely with existing and new customers to understand requirements. Conduct regular internal and external audits to ensure compliance. Develop and maintain a system for monitoring and evaluating quality control data and report findings. Identify and investigate quality control issues and recommend solutions Work closely with productions and design teams. Develop and implement training programs to educated employees on best quality practices. The Person A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a quality role at engineer or management level. Strong knowledge of quality control methodologies and root cause analysis. Excellent communication, leadership and problem-solving skills. Previous experience working in a fast-paced precision engineering or manufacturing environment. Strong attention to detail. Ability to analyse complex data and draw meaningful conclusions.
