A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Quality Manager within an SME Automotive Business in Sandwell. The role has a small number of reports and will have real autonomy within a flat structure from Day 1. As such it could suit a Senior Engineer looking for a step up or perhaps a seasoned Quality Manager looking to hit the ground running and be left to get on with it. The successful Quality Manager will have a proven Automotive background and have excellent customer management skills. The Quality Manager will be responsible for * Maintaining Monitoring and Improving the QMS * Day to day Quality work as needed (8D, 5 Whys, PPAP etc) * Leading Audits (Customer, ISO 9001 and IATF 16949) The Quality Manager will have experience in a similar role (Automotive Quality) and will be a key player in the wider business (management of KPI’s, mentoring junior staff etc). For fulfilling the role of Quality Manager our client can offer a generous salary of up to £50,000 along with reasonable job security and a supportive senior management team.
