Position: Quality & Technical Manager Location: Skelmersdale   Salary: £47,000 to £50,000 + 10% bonus This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Quality Manager to join a market leading engineering company, operating in a wide range of industries including aerospace, defence, automotive and oil & gas.  They are looking to recruit a Quality Manager who manage all aspects of the Quality Function. i.e Controlling processes, materials, product compliance, maintaining quality systems and support customers regarding quality requirements and queries. Role and Responsibilities: Manage the Quality Department to ensure objectives & KPI’s are met. Communicate wit the engineering & production departments to sort any quality issues. Carry out annual personnel appraisals and identify development/training requirements. Monitor site quality, processes and maintain site & customer standards. Liaise with customers, managers and staff. Responsible for implementing new quality processes across the site. As well as offering advice & training regarding quality standards and initiatives. Experience or Qualifications:      Understanding of engineering drawings Strong background working within Quality. Worked within a similar industry such as Aerospace, Defence, Oil & Gas and Automotive.
