Key Responsibilities Conduct final and goods-inwards inspections by verifying parts against technical drawings and purchase order requirements. Work to daily inspection targets while maintaining quality standards. Monitor and maintain calibration status of inspection equipment. Perform release inspections (Customer Eyes Over-Check) prior to dispatch. Apply independent judgment in identifying and escalating quality issues. Support continuous improvement efforts and undertake other quality-related tasks as assigned. Required Skills & Experience Proven experience in quality inspection, ideally within the aerospace or precision engineering sectors. Competent in using standard inspection tools (e.g., micrometers, calipers, gauges). Experience in reviewing and inspecting certification and paperwork for aerospace components. Familiarity with inspection of parts using jigs and fixtures is desirable. Experience with CMM or FARO arm inspection tools is advantageous. Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer systems. Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks in a dynamic environment. High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Education & Qualifications GCSEs (A*-C) in English and Maths or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
