Currently looking for a Quality Inspector for a contract in Kidderminster. Frequency (Hours per Week): 37 Duration (Days): 90 days + Currently seeking an Aerospace / Defence Quality Inspector to support on a contract (37 hours per week) in the Kidderminster area. Job Description: Responsible for carrying out inspections of parts and assemblies to drawing and process requirements across site on any project. Completion of minor reworks / touch ups to make product complaint. Spot-checking of operators to confirm operator compliance to the MM. Raise non-conformance forms if required and inspect /Approve rework. Manage own workload, liaising with the relevant cell leaders to identify and complete inspections in a timely manner. Generate, Collate, update, and maintain and complete FAIR using Visual Fair as requested. Creation and Management of CMM Programs, Probes and Software updates. Problem solve CMM errors, issues, collisions. Operate CMM machines in line with business needs. Use LK machines and Camio. Create inspection methods for underdefined or non-standard inspections. Follow business procedures and processes adhering to relevant paperwork. Responsible for personal health and safety within the business. To Mentor or teach new inspectors, knowledge sharing for progression potential within the team. Conduct Audits where requested i.e. Flash, Internal, supplier. Additional duties or tasks as requested by the business requirements.Qualifications: Essential Apprenticeship level or equivalent in an engineering discipline. Desirable Internal Auditor AS/EN9100 trained.Experience: Essential Experience Quality inspection within a manufacturing/engineering industry. CMM operation/programming. FAIR generation and collation. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. Problem solving skills. Desirable Experience Experience of using root cause analysis tools (8Ds, 5 Whys etc).Security checks and clearance will be needed before candidates are able to start. Prior or current SC Clearance would be highly advantageous. This role falls inside IR35
