Qualitair Aviation are recruiting a Quality Inspector to join one of our international Aviation Clients on a permanent basis in Hayes, Heathrow! Duties include: Undertake and complete a detailed inspection of all components (with exception of components which require a quarantine process due to incident / accident) using latest criteria and Inspection equipment. Creation and modification of component overhaul / Repair routes within SAP as required. Ensuring that all information (I.E. P/N, S/N and Condition) is recorded in the shop Repair Order and on company SAP system. Carry out accurate measurement of components where required due to workload. Work to Production priority lists-ASPEN, Milestone dates as provided by Production Control. Interface with Technical engineering and other production departments where necessary. Maintain a personal Practical Experience Record (PER) book. Requirements: Aerospace apprenticeship desirable Maths and English GCSE A-C Grades equivalent 'A' Level or equivalent qualification in an engineering subject desirable Extensive experience within an Aerospace Engineering or equivalent environment Previous mechanical component inspection background PC literate Previous experience working within an SAP computer system would advantageous Knowledge of inspection techniques and equipment Practical experience using imperial measurement tools Knowledge of manuals and Boeing websites Aviation Legislation among other training required Don't miss this great opportunity that offers a starting salary of £26,500 increasing up to £34,000 depending on experience, plus shift pay and numerous company benefits!
