Job Title: Quality Engineer (Production) Type: Permanent Location: Gloucester Salary: Up to 45k Overview: As a Quality Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to oversee the daily operations of the Quality Management System, guaranteeing that products adhere to specified standards during manufacturing and assembly. In this position, you will take a proactive approach, actively participating in all departmental functions from Engineering to Operations and Customer Support. Main Responsibilities: Assist in investigating the root causes of non-conformances to help reduce occurrences of quality issues Aid in the industrialization process of new products, focusing on final quality assessment of documentation (Forms 1-3, SOL, Control and Inspection Plans) Conduct various audits (e.g., FOD audits, workstation audits, internal audits) Carry out RCCA investigations using common tools such as 8D, Ishikawa, 5 Whys, and support the implementation of corrective and preventive actions Assist in APQP and PPAP activities onsite, including ongoing process development Actively participate in MFTs across all business levels, offering guidance to participantsKnowledge and Skills: Experience of manufacturing principles, processes, standards and procedures Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications Qualification - apprenticeship/HNC/degree Knowledge of root cause analysis techniques (8D, Ishikawa, 5WHY) Awareness of DVI/FAIR processIf this role is of interest and you would like more details, please contact Jesse Thasan on (phone number removed), alternatively, email your CV to (url removed)
