Quality Engineer Role Responsibilities: * Handle all customer quality and engineering issues with proactive support and response. * Communicate detailed customer requirements to the internal team for full understanding. * Serve as the main contact for customers, internal teams, and suppliers regarding quality and engineering issues throughout the product lifecycle. * Manage product quality and engineering requirements, supporting new product introductions and quality planning. * Define and support the project management, manufacturing, and introduction of necessary test equipment and gauging. * Optimize measurement techniques to ensure a stable and capable production process using statistical process control and support design of experiments activities. * Participate in design reviews and prototype builds. * Lead the creation of Control Plans and support failure mode and effects analysis reviews, documenting outputs as required. * Train the production team on customer expectations and quality requirements. * Record, address, and resolve customer concerns using problem-solving techniques. * Support supplier development and improvement. * Manage and report customer-specific key performance indicators related to product quality and corrective action performance. * Conduct internal and external audits. * Support product launches with relevant reports and alerts. * Monitor warranty acceptance rates and maintain timely responses. * Negotiate and correct warranty billing issues. * Manage open warranty projects and ensure timely resolution. Preferred Qualifications & Experience: * Proven experience in Quality Engineering. * Relevant degree or equivalent qualifications. * Experience with quality systems and procedures. * Strong customer focus. * Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. * Good influencing and negotiation abilities. * Flexible and adaptable
