You'll use cutting-edge equipment in a state-of-the-art Analysis room/CMM room, where your keen eye for detail and analytical skills will shine. What You'll Be Doing: Analyse Returns: Dive into detective mode to perform thorough analysis on products returned from customers, identifying defects and their causes. Function Test and Measurement: Put your skills to the test by conducting function tests and measurements on new, redesigned, and existing products. Product Reliability: Ensure products stand the test of time by conducting reliability tests tailored to customer needs and timelines. Reporting: Be the voice of clarity by producing detailed and accurate reports on testing, investigation, and analysis results. Equipment Inspection/Repair: Keep equipment in top shape with regular inspections and basic repairs. Documentation: Maintain and update procedures and SOPs for test equipment. Support PPAP submissions for our customers and suppliers. Supporting Production: Be a versatile team player by assisting the production department with various ad hoc duties, including containment activities.What You'll Bring to the Table: Expertise: In-depth knowledge of GD&T, CMM programming skills, and experience with test stands. Technical Savvy: Proficiency with PC applications (Word/Excel) and functional knowledge of automotive parts. Problem-Solving Skills: Sharp fault-finding abilities to identify and resolve basic causes of defects. Communication: Strong report writing and communication skills to clearly convey your findings.Qualifications: GD & T good knowledge and working experience CMM experience Programming Experience Manufacturing experience ONC/HNC level or further education in engineering.
