PSV/HGV Technician needed Croydon Our client, a commercial vehicles and bus maintenance facility based in Croydon , is seeking for a HGV/PSV Technician to join their team. The ideal candidate will be a highly skilled and versatile technician with a strong background in maintaining and servicing a fleet of both trucks and coaches andensuring that all vehicles are kept in optimal working condition. Role: PSV/HGV Technician Hours: Various shift patterns Location: Croydon Key Responsibilities: * Perform routine maintenance and servicing on HGV (Heavy Goods Vehicles) and PSV (Public Service Vehicles) fleet. * Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults across a range of vehicles, including trucks and coaches. * Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards. * Carry out MOT preparations, inspections, and repairs. * Assist with breakdowns and emergency repairs as required. * Maintain accurate service records and documentation. Requirements: * Proven experience as an HGV/PSV Technician or in a similar role. * Strong knowledge of truck and coach systems and components. * Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Flexible and able to work across a variety of vehicle types and issues. * Relevant qualifications (e.g., City & Guilds, NVQ) in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
