We’re recruiting for a PSV (Public Service Vehicle) Mechanic to join our dedicated engineering team in York. You'll be maintaining and repairing a modern fleet of buses and coaches, ensuring they operate safely and reliably for the public. What You’ll Be Doing Routine servicing, inspections, and MOT prep on PSV vehicles Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults Completing job cards and paperwork accurately Working as part of a collaborative engineering team Ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and DVSA standardsWhat We’re Looking For Qualified PSV or HGV mechanic (Level 3 NVQ or equivalent) Proven experience working on buses, coaches, or similar large vehicles Good knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems A proactive attitude with a commitment to high standards Full UK driving licence (PCV licence a bonus, but not essential)What We Offer Competitive salary: £41,000 – £45,000 DOE Overtime available at enhanced rates Ongoing manufacturer training and development Tools and uniform provided Pension scheme & holiday allowance Friendly, professional working environmentReady to drive your career forward?
