We are currently looking for a Project Manager to join a growing automotive manufacturing customer of ours near Warwick. Job Purpose: 1. Planning, delegating, monitoring and control of projects. 2. Management of project costs, timescales, quality, scope and risks. 3. Coordination of activities within a cross-functional team to meet project objectives. 4. Coordination of activities between the company and external organisations involved in project activities. 5. Develop and improve the project management process. Main Duties and Responsibilities: * Planning, delegating, monitoring and control * Develop robust plans and budgets for projects in line with business requirements. * Record key decisions and lessons learned. * Efficiently and effectively deliver projects according to the agreed plan. * Ensure effective communication between all stakeholders within the project. * Managing cost, timescales, quality scope and risk * Create a project budget and manage project spend within the context of the overall Engineering budget. * Prepare project plans and monitor adherence to the plan. * Become familiar with and ensure that relevant quality standards are being followed. * Be able to identify, categorise and mitigate project risks Applicant pre-requisites: * Familiarity with PRINCE 2, Agile or similar Project Management methodology. * Previous experience working in automotive manufacturing (or similar production). * Strong Microsoft Office / Teams / SharePoint skills. * Solid Microsoft Project or other Project Management Software experience. * Experience working with MRP / ERP software systems and manufacturing processes. * STEM degree or equivalent. * Experience working with BOM’s and sales orders (desirable). * Ability to read engineering drawings (desirable). Additional Information: * Salary up to £52,000pa. * Standard hours (37 pw), 08:00 – 16:30 Mon – Thu, 08:00 – 13:00 Fri. * Hybrid working
