My client is a leading manufacturer of bespoke high-quality parts supplying to defence, nuclear, and aerospace industries. They are currently looking for an experienced Project Engineer to join the team who will ensure that new and existing products are transitioned from planning through to production readiness ensuring that all customer and business requirements are met. This will be achieved by ensuring the latest manufacturing techniques, technologies and processes are identified and employed. Project Engineer Permanent Salary - £43,000 - £45,000 per year Mon - Thu 07:30am – 16:30pm, Fri 07:30am – 14:00pm Derbyshire Project Engineer Job Description Establish methods of manufacture for individual projects and ensure that all manufacturing processes are carried out Provide technical support for each project by liaising with internal stakeholders Participate and contribute to all related pre-contract reviews with the customer Liaise with customers regularly to keep them updated on the project schedule Ensure first time right practise is carried out Working with the wider business unit to develop and improve business processes, remove waste and non-value add activities Project Engineer Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications 3-5 years’ experience within a manufacturing business Experience planning complex machined parts Using route cards and technical drawings Degree Minimum 2+ years’ experience Project Management Experience Experience working on the shop floor would be desirable Project Engineer Company Benefits Company Sick Pay scheme eligible after 1 years’ service Company Pension Contribution 25 days holiday + Bank holidays If you feel you’re a good fit for this position, please click ‘apply
