Project Engineer Stability, growth and opportunity at Preci- Spark Preci-Spark is seeking a motivated and experienced Project Engineer to join our busy and experienced team. As a Project Engineer within our team, you will play a crucial role in introducing and managing new projects, while also contributing to existing ones. Your previous experience with CAD/CAM software will be highly valued as you will be responsible for delivering optimised manufacturing processes. Requirements: * Engineering Degree (Mechanical Design or Aerospace preferable). * 5 years’ experience within an engineering role. * Experience in CAD/CAM (Siemens NX preferable). * Experience of creating engineering drawings (incl. GDT). * Understanding of project management techniques and tools. * Experience of working with core quality tools (APQP, FMEA, MSA, etc.) * Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively. * Be an effective communicator when interacting with colleagues and customers. * To always work in a professional manner. * Full UK driving licence (role will some travel between sites). * Health, Safety and Environment compliance. The role: * Introduction of new products (NPI), working to both ISO, AS and company standards and procedures. * Being able to work independently on projects with support from the wider team. * Design of manufacturing process plans and works instructions. * Design of jigs and fixtures. * Offline programming of CNC machines including milling, turning, mill-turn, lasers and WEDM machining centres. * Producing high quality technical drawings for use both internally and externally (for customers or sub-contractors).
