Role – Programme Manager Location - Luton Permanent Role – Salary Negotiable The Role: Responsible for operation, development and performance of the Luton line facility that meets customer expectations, achieves defined KPI,s  in compliance  with industry standards and Group policies. Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities Strategic   Develop, the Luton Line station into a class leading operation able to provide both contracted and noncontracted (AdHoc) customers with best of class service levels. Build up customer relationships in partnership with the technical sales team to achieve measurable business growth. Develop, in partnership with the support team, significant growth of the line station support services technical capabilities both on and off site.    Operational To lead the team of engineers and support staff and ensure that it is suitably resourced and supported across the range of required disciplines to provide the contracted customer service levels To ensure all local and company policies are properly complied with. Liaise/engage with customers daily providing daily status reports on aircraft serviceability. Liaise/engage with local operational teams to ensure smooth running of the department Participate in the quality audit programme and ensuring audit closure actions are developed and implemented. Reporting of all SMS/Quality issues.    Qualifications, Experience and Skills Essential Previous experience in operating /managing a busy aircraft line support department. Demonstrated management experience in an aircraft engineering environment Working knowledge of Aviation regulatory framework. Command of English language and good communication skills, both written and verbal. Good knowledge of aircraft maintenance and operations standards and practices. Good understanding of the concepts and requirements of SMS, Quality Assurance and Audits. Managerial skills – Ability to delegate work, set clear directions and manage workflow. Strong mentoring and coaching skills. Ability to train and develop subordinate’s skills. Ability to foster teamwork among team members.
