Job description - the role Please note this position is going to be hybrid. In this role you will be part of a unique, autonomous, and strongly customer-focussed team with responsibility for managing Transport & Legacy programmes throughout all stages of the project life cycle. What you'll do: Act as a prime interface for Rolls-Royce's Transport & Legacy customers from the point of quotation to contract close-out and involved in all aspects in-between. Own the creation, commitment, communication, and daily management of an integrated programme plan for engine delivery programmes within the value stream. Review task progress against committed plans to identify when corrective action is required. Own and manage programme risk, finances, and scheduling. Support new work proposal submissions, integrating with purchasing and commercial as required. Work with Engineering Technical Leads and Programme Managers/Leads to prioritise, resource, and govern packages of work in support of OE & Aftermarket programme delivery. Work alongside New Material and Quality teams to manage arising quality and/or hardware issues.The skills you'll need: Experience of managing projects with multiple key stakeholders Strong written and oral communication skills Understanding of good planning practices APM or Prince2 qualification (already obtained, working towards, or willing to work towards) Working knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office tools, risk management tools, Kanbanize, and SAPNext steps We will only accept workers operating via an Umbrella or PAYE engagement model.
