Purpose of the Production Supervisor role: Our client is looking for a Production Supervisor to lead and develop people and processes in the stores production area to maximise safety, quality, delivery, cost, and people. Main duties and responsibilities of a Production Supervisor: . Capacity and demand planning. . Responsible for the adherence to the production plan, achieving production performance/targets/OTIF and OEE. . Delivering shift change over meetings, daily reporting, and weekly reporting. . Responsible for the adoption of lean philosophies, lean processes, and improvement / CI activities. . Execution of Risk Assessments, Safety Walks (operational), 5S Audits, and Layered Audits (operational). . Support the execution of Safety Walks (leadership), Layered Audits (leadership). . Responsible for Near Miss, Incident, and Accident Reporting (associated communications). . Responsible for nurturing positive culture and upholding BorgWarner Beliefs and Behaviours including DE&I. . Responsible for deputising for the role directly above, ensuring a flexible workforce, undertaking training needs analysis, and talent development. . Support the creation and execution of training and development plans. . Responsible for onboarding, wider business cross-functional integration/communications, and Performance Management. Experience/knowledge requirements for a Production Supervisor: . Previous experience supervising employees in a manufacturing environment. . Strong leadership abilities. .
