M-Tec Engineering is working with a market leading 1st tier automotive manufacturer who are looking to recruit a Production Supervisor to work a three shift pattern (6am – 2pm, 2pm – 10pm, 10pm – 6am) As a Production Supervisor you will be responsible for up to 25 operators and 2 team leaders who work in the same time frame, ensuring 5s process are adhered too. The Production Supervisor will be responsible for: **Ensuring team KPI’s are hit and reported at the end of the shift. *Manage cell leaders and coordinate & implement improvement activities using lean techniques *Measure and monitor accurate timekeeping & attendance records together with labour & training requirements with you team *Improve 5S activities and feedback to team during daily team briefing sessions *Generate OEE and advise accordingly through weekly core team meetings to assist with closure of any issues that affect OEE. *Control labour efficiency and manufacturing output; Efficiencies, Scrap Control and Management of housekeeping The ideal candidate will have the following skillset and qualifications: *Management experience in the automotive sector (or any other manufacturing sector) *ILM Level 3 Management. *Knowledge of 5s.
