An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Production Engineer to join a first tier automotive supplier. The Production Engineer will be responsible for rolling out lean practices and improvements across the plant and improving efficiencies. Further responsibilities will include: *Continuous improvement activities *Lead Kaizen Events *Layout optimisation *Operator saturation improvements *Improving targets against Takt time *Value Stream Mapping *Design, review and implement new and existing layouts *Implementing a lean manufacturing environment using lean tools *Internal and external audit preparations. *Work alongside suppliers designing new machinery / poke yokes for improved production and Quality You will also have involvement with new project launches which will include: *Feasibility analysis *Track and report equipment introduction performance *Lead FMEA updates *Technical problem solving & Root cause analysis If you believe you have the required skills and experience then please apply now.
