Working for a world leader within the aircraft manufacturing industry based in Clevedon the Production Controller will be responsible for executing production plans for their given area of responsibility. Candidates will need to have previous experience working in a similar role within a manufacturing environment. Benefits: Hours 8am to 5pm Monday to Thursday, 8am to 1pm Friday 24 days holiday plus public holidays Contributory Pension Scheme Health Care Cash Plan, Employee Assistance Programme, Life Assurance Company Sick Pay Scheme Free on site parking Duties: Understand the Master Production Schedule and Production Plan Ensure capacity requirements are agreed by the Production Planner and Production Managers Review material availability ensuring buyers are aware of shortfalls Ensure Programming , tools and fixtures are available Release work to the shop floor for manufacture Run dispatch lists for shop floor Attend production, mod and material review board meetings, chair requirement and performance meetings Assist Production Planners and liaise with Production Managers, Supervisors and Buyers Maintain the SAP system Qualifications & Experience: Must have previous Production Control experience Experience gained within a manufacturing environment is essential Previous experience of the aerospace industry would be preferable The ability to read drawings would be a real advantage Must have previous SAP or ERP systems experience Must have excellent communication skills with a strong "can-do" ethic Exceptional planning and organisation skills are prerequisite Candidates who require sponsorship now or in the future are not eligible to apply for this vacancy.
