We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Production Scheduler to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient flow of production processes by coordinating schedules, managing resources, and optimising workflows. This position requires a strong understanding of supply chain management and business processes, along with the ability to implement continuous improvement initiatives. Duties * Develop and maintain production schedules that align with demand forecasts and inventory levels. * Collaborate with various departments including production, procurement, and quality control to ensure seamless operations. * Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as necessary to meet changing demands or address delays. * Utilise SAP and other systems to track production metrics and generate reports for management review. * Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in scheduling processes and overall production efficiency. * Ensure that all scheduled activities comply with quality control standards and safety regulations. * Maintain clear communication with team members regarding schedule changes, resource availability, and production priorities. Skills * Proficiency in SAP or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems. * Strong understanding of supply chain principles and business processes. * Mechanical knowledge to understand production equipment and processes. * Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. * Strong analytical skills to assess data and make informed scheduling decisions. * Effective communication skills for collaboration across departments. * A proactive approach to problem-solving with a focus on continuous improvement.
