Join a prestigious aerospace manufacturer in Southend as their Procurement Manager! The purpose of this exciting role is to Lead and manage the Southend Procurement Team and suppliers to achieve business goals.  Permanent, Full-Time, 39 Hours Mon – Thurs: 8:00 – 17:00, Fri: 8:00 – 13:00 Salary: £65,000 pa, DOE Responsibilities, but not limited to: Managing the Procurement Team and suppliers to meet functional, program, and business objectives. Leading continuous improvement initiatives for the team's processes, capabilities, and people. Developing strategies to minimize commercial, financial, and schedule risks within the supply base. Establishing an organizational framework to support current and future business objectives. Handling UK Intercompany Electronics, Composites, and OTM trading forecasts and demand management. Providing regular reports on Procurement Team performance to relevant stakeholders. Identifying and addressing staff development needs through training plans. Resolving supplier and supply chain issues affecting program and business goals. Collaborating with other functions to support overall program and business objectives. Ensuring effective processes for managing employee performance, attendance, and relations, in alignment with HR. Providing regular briefings to the Procurement Team on company performance and future plans. Adhering to internal control systems, laws, and company standards, including environmental, safety, and health policies. Developing and implementing processes to maintain legal, regulatory, and statutory compliance. Representing the business with high standards of corporate citizenship and social responsibility. Undertaking any other reasonable and relevant tasks as required.
