Prepper Location: Thurleigh Shift Patterns: Monday-Friday, (Apply online only) Pay Rate: £14.50-£16 per hour Employment Type: Ongoing work Igloo has a fantastic opportunity for automotive preppers to work in the Thurleigh area of Bedfordshire. Successful candidates will work on behalf of our client, a leading finished vehicle logistics company with locations across the UK, specialising in new and used vehicle preparation, logistics, and secure storage for the automotive industry. The Role: As a prepper, you will be responsible for the following tasks: * Fully preparing vehicles before painting. * Conducting small to medium filler work to repair body panels. * Sanding panels. * Bagging and masking vehicles to expose only the areas that need painting. * Priming panels for paint. * Preparing individual parts and panels, such as bumpers and bonnets, including sanding, priming, and placing on racks for paint sprayers. What kind of person are we looking for? * Previous experience working in an automotive body shop, comfortable in a fast-paced environment. * Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of vehicle repair methods. * Reliability and good time management skills. * Possession of a full category B driving licence
