As a Vehicle Prepper, you will play a vital role in preparing vehicles for painting, ensuring that surfaces are properly prepped and ready for the application of paint. This is a key position within our team, requiring attention to detail, a commitment to high standards, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure. Key Responsibilities * Surface preparation, including filling, sanding, and cleaning surfaces to ensure a smooth and even finish. * Unpacking, handling, and preparing parts prior to paint, ensuring they are free from imperfections. * Performing minor filler jobs as needed to address any surface imperfections. * Preparing and cleaning panels for priming, ensuring that they are properly prepped for the application of primer. * Priming vehicles to create a suitable surface for paint application. * Preparing vehicles for paint by masking and taping off areas that are not to be painted. * Polishing vehicles to achieve a flawless finish. About You * Previous experience preparing cars for painting, preferably from an accident repair background. * A high level of attention to detail, with a commitment to producing work of the highest quality. * Ability to work safely under pressure, maintaining composure and efficiency in a fast-paced environment. * Strong organisational skills, with the ability to plan and manage your workload effectively. * Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
