Preparation Technician £11.50ph 08:00 – 16:45 Monday – Thursday 08:00 – 15:45 on Friday Working as a Preparation Technician within a specialist engineering business, the role involves assisting the smooth transit of engineering work throughout the facility. From detailed masking of components to cleaning and preparing parts for return to customer. The post holder will be able to work quickly and accurately, show practical problem-solving ability, have a good eye for detail and excellent manual dexterity. The work of a Preparation Technician is varied and may range from inserting threaded fasteners into metal components to using a scalpel to cut and apply complex shapes. Experience of reading engineering/technical drawings would be an advantage but is not essential as full training would be given to the right candidate.
