Purpose of role and accountabilities: * Contract review customer orders and liaise with customer for any corrections before loading onto MRP system. * Responsible for identifying all manufacturing and treatments requirements from customer drawings and specifications. * Create manufacturing plans and BOM’s for all new parts including surface treatments and subcon requirements. * Interface with manufacturing departments for best methods of manufacture. * Generate concessions for deviations from drawing requirements and submit to customer. * Liaise with customers on any design/manufacturing queries. * Responsible for liaising with customers on design changes and point of embodiment. * Interface with Estimating department with Engineering queries on new quotations. * Verification of newly entered orders and created parts. * Interface with manufacturing departments to correct manufacturing plans if problems found during manufacture.
