I'm looking for multiple Physics & Mathematics Graduates (2023 and 2024 class) that have completed modules on Electromagnetics/Electromagnetism as part of their degree, to join the UK's leading Aerospace & Defence organisation as a trainee Electromagnetics Engineer. This is a hybrid-working role of 3 days per week onsite in Warton, Preston (PR4) and you must be eligible for Security Clearance (SC) to be considered. What you'll be doing: Performing requirements, design and implementation, qualification and test tasks, within schedule and estimates Adherence to relevant engineering practices Reporting on progress and providing feedback to team members and leadership Production of appropriate technical documentation Working closely with suppliers and industry partners Working with customers to support delivered systems and resolve issuesEssential skills: A degree in Physics or Mathematics Basic knowledge and understanding of Electromagnetics Engineering Proven experience of using Microsoft Office tool such as Outlook, Word, Excel and/or PowerPointDesirable skills: An understanding of the overall systems engineering lifecycle Knowledge of and understanding of Design IT tools e.g. CAD systems Experience working within a large, complex, multi-project environmentThis is an absolutely amazing opportunity for recent graduates to join a fast-track training programme with such a highly regarded organisation, being involved in some of the most innovative and cutting-edge engineering projects in the world.
