Parts Manager Up to £30,000 PA DOE Permanent Northampton Heritage PS Talent Solutions are working on behalf of our client. We are thrilled to be recruiting for an experienced Parts Manager in Northampton on behalf of our client. Reporting directly to the General Manager you will manage the daily operations of the Parts department. This position is full-time and permanent. You'll receive on-the-job training from your colleagues and managers and become part of a supportive and welcoming team. Main duties of the Parts Manager: * Lead and guide the parts department to success. * Ensure the dealership maximizes parts sales to both trade and retail customers for optimal market penetration. * Manage parts inventory efficiently to minimise debtors. * Ensure accurate and timely completion of all administrative tasks and operational data. * Create an effective marketing and publicity strategy to promote products and services. * Communicate department objectives to the team and provide regular feedback on their progress. * Establish and maintain professional relationships with external supplier representatives. * Implement systematic recruitment, induction, and performance management processes for department employees to reduce staff turnover. * Foster a motivated, productive, and rewarded team. * Prioritise exceptional customer care and satisfaction. Requirements of the Parts Manager: To excel in this position, you should possess extensive experience in parts management along with leadership capabilities, preferably gained within the franchised dealership sector. In addition to your expertise, you should showcase the following abilities: Effective leadership skills to inspire and motivate a team A composed and professional demeanor coupled with adept stakeholder management abilities Have a full UK driving license Be flexible - This is a Monday - Friday role but you will be required to work 2 in 4 Saturday mornings too.
