We are seeking a results-driven Parts Business Development Manager to join a growing team. The Role As a Parts Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding the customer base within the Parts department. Your key responsibilities will include: * Proactively identifying and developing new business opportunities. * Building and maintaining long-term relationships with current and prospective clients. * Promoting and selling a range of products, including DAF Webshop, TRP Parts, and Impress Stock. * Conducting market research to identify trends, new customers, and growth areas. * Achieving individual sales targets through upselling and cross-selling. * Providing expert advice on pricing, product information, and customer needs. Key Responsibilities * Scheduling and attending meetings with potential and existing customers. * Developing in-depth knowledge of manufacturer vehicles and product options through ongoing training. * Managing stock processes, including Impress Stock, and participating in stock checks. * Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety requirements. * Collaborating with team members and providing training when necessary. What We’re Looking For Experience & Knowledge: * Previous experience in Commercial Vehicle Parts is preferred, but candidates with a strong business development background in similar industries will also be considered. * A proven track record in sales and business development, with experience meeting and exceeding targets. * Knowledge of Kerridge (desirable but not essential). * A full UK driving licence is preferred. Skills & Competencies: * Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively. * Customer-focused mindset with excellent listening skills. * Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and high-energy approach to sales. * Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. * IT proficiency, including familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
