A major truck and van manufacturer is looking for a Parts Advisor to order parts for customers and clients and also for the workshop as well. Any automotive sector parts experience is required for this role, ideally commercial or light commercial vehicles, but cars, vans etc is fine. ROLE: Parts Advisor LOCATION: Farnborough BASIC SALARY: £26k to £28k plus overtime BENEFITS: Pension & Healthcare, 24 days holiday plus BH ROLE: ·Advising customers, the correct parts they require for their vehicle ·Taking orders over the phone or by email ·Checking availability of parts. ·Picking parts from the warehouse ·Ordering parts ·Suppling quotes ·Arranging deliveries ·Dealing with payments ·Raising invoices and issuing receipts ·Managing parts returns ·Order non-OE parts from suppliers ·Putting stock away and updating records ·Managing old unit returns.
