Parts Advisor – Main Dealership – Cambridge Salary: £24,000 – £26,000 basic | OTE: £28,000 – £29,000 Location: Cambridge We are working with a well-established main dealership in Cambridge who are looking to recruit an experienced Parts Advisor to join their successful aftersales team. Key Responsibilities: As a Parts Advisor, you will handle automotive parts enquiries in person, over the phone, and via email The Parts Advisor will be responsible for ordering, receiving, and managing stock levels and inventory The Parts Advisor will advise customers and workshop staff on correct OEM parts and accessories Processing orders efficiently and accurately is a core duty of the Parts Advisor role The Parts Advisor must ensure outstanding customer service is provided at all times Maintaining up-to-date parts catalogues and records is part of the Parts Advisor’s daily responsibilities The Parts Advisor will support the workshop with accurate parts supply and communication As a Parts Advisor, you’ll help maintain optimal stock levels and assist with stocktaking The Parts Advisor will use DMS systems like Kerridge for efficient parts processing Working closely with technicians, the Parts Advisor will ensure correct and timely parts delivery The Parts Advisor is expected to follow all dealership procedures and manufacturer guidelines An experienced Parts Advisor should have a keen eye for detail and strong organisational skills The Parts Advisor must work well within a team and maintain a positive, professional attitude As a trusted Parts Advisor, you’ll contribute to a productive and customer-focused environment A proactive Parts Advisor can expect excellent training and career development opportunitiesRequirements: Previous experience as a Parts Advisor (main dealership experience preferred) Strong communication and organisational skills Ability to work well under pressure in a busy automotive environment Kerridge or similar DMS experience is desirableBenefits: Salary: £24,000 – £26,000 basic | OTE £28,000 – £29,000 Manufacturer training and development for the Parts Advisor role Friendly, professional working environmentIf you're a motivated Parts Advisor looking to join a reputable main dealership in Cambridge, apply today with your CV.
