Parts Advisor The Role We are currently seeking an experienced and customer-focused Parts Advisor to join a busy and professional aftersales team. This role is pivotal in supporting the workshop, service department and customers by ensuring accurate parts identification, ordering and stock control. Key Responsibilities * Accurately identify, order and supply vehicle parts and accessories * Support workshop technicians by ensuring correct parts are available in a timely manner * Liaise with customers (trade and retail) both face-to-face and over the phone * Process parts invoices, returns and warranty items * Maintain accurate stock levels and carry out regular stock checks * Work closely with Service Advisors and Technicians to minimise downtime * Ensure parts department processes comply with company and manufacturer standards * Upsell accessories and additional parts where appropriate The Ideal Candidate * Previous experience as a Parts Advisor (automotive background preferred) * Strong knowledge of vehicle parts and electronic parts catalogues (EPC) * Excellent communication and customer service skills * Highly organised with strong attention to detail * Confident using dealer management systems (DMS) * Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment * Full UK driving licence (preferred) What’s On Offer * Competitive basic salary with bonus structure * Manufacturer training and development * Career progression opportunities within a growing group * Pension scheme and staff benefits * Supportive and professional working environment
