Panel Beater - Manchester Area

My client is looking for a Panel Beater to join their small but expanding team within the Body shop in the Manchester area.

Ideally, as a Panel Beater you will have experience repairing a range of vehicles from small cars to LCD's. We are looking for someone with the right attitude, a great communicator and a team player. You must have your own basic tools and an ATA/NVQ Level 3 qualification would be an advantage.

Key Panel Beater roles & Responsibilities for the Panel Beater

• To repair or replace, as necessary, bodywork panels of damaged vehicles according to the instructions received or details on the job card. This will include chassis and framework.
• Dismantle and repair damaged vehicles by either repairing damaged panels or by replacing those beyond repair.
• Adhere to the manufacturer's literature and modification bulletins as appropriate to the repair and to the replacement of chassis and panel work.
• To ensure that all equipment used, to include jigs, fixtures and welding equipment is operated in accordance with defined safety requirements.

Hours: Monday - Thursday: 08:00 - 17:00

Friday 08:00 - 15:00. Plenty of overtime available if your heart desires!

Salary: Depending on your experience and qualifications, your salary is £35,000 per annum but may increase up to £45,000 for the RIGHT person.
