Panel Beater  Location: Aylesford Salary: Up to £55,000 Hours: 42.5 Monday to Friday Only  We are looking for an experienced Panel Beater, Structural Panel Beater or Bodyshop Panel Beater to join a growing vehicle repair team in Aylesford. Benefits Team bonus 28 days holiday including bank holidays Length of service awards Healthcare Cash Plan including gym and shopping discounts Employee Assistance Programme Celebration Day to use as you wish for a significant day in your life Car insurance discount with LV Employee engagement budget for team activities Access to Mental Health First Aiders Cycle to Work Scheme Key Responsibilities of a Panel Beater / Structural Panel Beater Carry out vehicle body repairs to manufacturer and industry standards Strip and refit vehicle parts where necessary Ensure correct panel alignment and adjustments Identify and report damage not included in the original job scope Assess and report on vehicle structure and paintwork Ensure all completed vehicles meet safety standards Remove, store and dispose of components, fluids and gases safely Complete quality control checks and sign offs at each repair stage Follow manufacturer repair methods and make sure they are visible on the job Use protective coverings on all vehicles Carry out filler repairs to a P180 finish and check for pinholes Apply underseal, weld through primers and anti corrosion treatments Maintain tools and equipment and report any defects to your line manager Skills and Experience Required for a Panel Beater / Bodyshop Panel Beater Previous experience as a Panel Beater, Structural Panel Beater or similar Motor manufacturer qualifications and experience Willingness to complete training courses where required Full UK driving licence Current AOM009 welding certificate or BS equivalent Training in MIG braze, spot welding, rivet and bonding Knowledge of high strength and Boron steel Light MET qualification linked to ATA Bonding certification Team player with a flexible and can do attitude Able to take responsibility and work on your own initiative This is an excellent opportunity for a Panel Beater / Structural Panel Beater / Bodyshop Panel Beater looking to join a business that values quality, teamwork and development.
