We are seeking a talented and experienced Vehicle Paint Technician to join the team at our Perry Barr site in Birmingham. About The Role As an experienced Vehicle Paint Technician with Steer, you will be working with a variety of customer vehicles. You will have the following responsibilities: * Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking as needed. * Mix paint to match vehicle colour and apply it using spray guns and other equipment. * Running our spray booth. * Ensure paint jobs meet quality standards and customer specifications. * Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines and deliver exceptional results. * Maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring that all health and safety procedures and and guidelines are being followed. About You We are looking for a candidate with previous experience as a Vehicle Paint Technician, ideally from an accident repair background. You will have: * Experience of working with a variety of vehicles, including electric and hybrid vehicles. * Strong knowledge of automotive painting techniques and materials. * Ability to use paint mixing equipment and spray guns effectively. * Understanding of the accident repair industry. * Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality. * Strong communication and teamwork skills. You will ideally hold ATA/NVQ qualifications, and we are happy to support in renewing these.
