Job description Our prestigious Nottinghamshire based clients are currently seeking a highly experienced, skilled and qualified NDT FPI Inspector with immediate effect. As a worldwide top ten manufacturer within their field, the ideal candidate should have the following: Essential Attributes: * Has a minimum of BSEN4179 level 2 dye penetrant inspection * Has good I.T. skills/general literacy * Can work as part of a team on a 3 shift rotation to contribute to our business objective of the delivery of varying different aerospace components to our customers on-time and in full whilst maintaining all safety requirements highlighted within local quality procedures * Can be responsible for the loading and running of a manual penetrant process line and subsequent component sentencing in accordance with defined acceptance criteria * Raises non-conformance issues and help with problem solving * Ensures a clean and safe environment at all times Desirable Attributes: * Can demonstrate a general understanding of high volume manufacturing whilst maintaining the necessary quality standards Hours of Work: Shifts – 37 hours per week working on the following 3 Shift Pattern: Mornings: 6.00 am – 2.12 pm Monday-Friday Afternoons: 1.48 pm – 9.30 pm Monday-Thursday 1.48 pm – 7.00 pm Friday Nights: 9.00 pm – 6.15 am Monday-Thursday This role is being initially offered on a 6-month contract, however there is scope to be directly engaged after successful a qualifying period for the right candidate, within the needs of the business Proofs of relevant certifications/apprenticeship would need to be available upon request
