Balfour Beatty has an exciting opportunity for a Motor Vehicle Technician to join our Plant & Fleet business unit to work in Raynesway, Derby. Role purpose Safe and effective service repair and maintenance of vehicles. What you'll be doing: * Ensure highest standard/quality of workmanship on all maintenance requirements, repair on car, light and specialist vehicles. * Exceeding of Customer’s expectations. * Ensure that a safe system of work is carried out at all times and in line with the Company’s health, safety, environmental and quality procedures. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) or “What it will look like when you are doing the job well” * Monthly Accounts - Productivity - Vehicle down time * Quality of maintenance and repair activities - Customer complaints – VOR status * MOT pass rate * Timely and accurate completion of all administrative duties * Customer commendations * 0 AFR - 0 LTIR - Near miss reporting * Ensure Balfour Beatty’s Code of Conduct is thoroughly understood, adhered to and promoted across the business to ensure safe, compliant and consistent working practices * To operate in an open and even handed manner with all personnel across the business. Treat all who we interact with, with courtesy and respect, treating everyone equally and embracing differences.
