Vacancy - Motor Vehicle Technician - Wimbledon

Our client are looking for a Motor Vehicle Technician / Mechanic to join their site. A community and family orientated employer, as a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic you will be joining an already established team of Technicians / Mechanics as their team continues to expand!

We are really looking for someone who is a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic who wants to be proud of where they work and can fit right into the team and crack on with the job!

Who we are looking for:

• Someone who is an expert in diagnosing as well as repairing mechanical and electrical faults on various vehicle makes and models.
• Knowledge of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electronics.
• Proficiency in using equipment and software to identify and diagnose faults in order to perform accurate repairs.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.

Salary:

• The hourly rate is £16.28 with the overtime rate being £20.34, which will apply to all Saturdays!
• Realistically the job is easily in excess of £40,000 per year.
• No bonuses so you won't be chasing numbers - quality and pride in your work is always more valued than quantity.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday 07:30 - 17:00
• Saturdays as and when needed / you want to work
