Vacancy - Vehicle Technician - Bury Area

Basic - 28k - 35k DOE

+ monthly bonus scheme of £300

Overtime also available at time and a half

8.00am - 5.30pm/8.30am - 5.30pm/9.00am - 6.00pm

Sats - 8.30am - 12.30pm (1 in 2)

About the role:

• Carry out routine service work and repairs.
• Provide additional work detail to customers and/or Service Advisors.
• Provide regular work status updates.
• Complete pre-delivery inspections on new and used vehicles.
• Ensure all work is carried out observing safe working practices of self and others.
• Check level and quality of work through use of diagnostic equipment and road-testing vehicles after work has been carried out.
• Complete relevant service documentation (Job sheets, PDI's, service reports) in line with HSO, warranty and dealership requirements.

About you:

• Level 3 qualification in vehicle service and repair as a minimum/MOT license would be beneficial but not essential.
• Team player.
• Excellent communicator both written and verbal.
• Must hold a valid UK driving licence.
